“Death Was Arrested” Cover by Joshua Ertle #FreedominChrist #northpointworship #AcousticWorship
“Death Was Arrested” is such a powerful reminder of the Gospel—that when Jesus died and rose again, death lost its sting and we were set free. I pray this acoustic cover blesses you as much as it has blessed me to sing it. It begins by describing life before Christ—lost, broken, and bound in sin. The chorus proclaims freedom: when Jesus rose from the grave, our shame and sin were arrested, and new life began. The song celebrates resurrection, forgiveness, and eternal life through Christ alone. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Through the cross and resurrection, the chains of sin were broken. John 11:25 reminds us: “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” Colossians 2:13-14 declares: “And you, who were dead in your trespasses… God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us. He set it aside, nailing it to the cross.” This is the truth behind Death Was Arrested—because of Jesus, we are free, forgiven, and alive in Him. Lyrics [Verse 1] Alone in my sorrow and dead in my sin Lost without hope with no place to begin Your love made a way to let mercy come in When death was arrested and my life began [Verse 2] Ash was redeemed only beauty remains My orphan heart was given a name My mourning grew quiet, my feet rose to dance When death was arrested and my life began [Chorus] Oh, Your grace so free, washes over me You have made me new, now life begins with You It's Your endless love, pouring down on us You have made us new, now life begins with You [Verse 3] Released from my chains, I'm a prisoner no more My shame was a ransom He faithfully bore He cancelled my debt and He called me His friend When death was arrested and my life began [Chorus] Oh, Your grace so free, washes over me You have made me new, now life begins with You It's Your endless love, pouring down on us You have made us new, now life begins with You [Verse 4] Our Savior displayed on a criminal's cross Darkness rejoiced as though heaven had lost But then Jesus arose with our freedom in hand That's when death was arrested and my life began That's when death was arrested and my life began [Chorus] Oh, Your grace so free, washes over me You have made me new, now life begins with You It's Your endless love, pouring down on us You have made us new, now life begins with You [Bridge] Oh, we're free, free, forever we're free Come join the song of all the redeemed Yes, we're free, free, forever amen When death was arrested and my life began Oh, we're free, free, forever we're free Come join the song of all the redeemed Yes, we're free, free, forever amen When death was arrested and my life began [Outro] When death was arrested and my life began That's when death was arrested and my life began Words & Music by Adam Kersh, Heath Balltzglier, Paul Taylor Smith, and Brandon Coker © 2015 Capitol CMG Paragon / Son of the Lion / Bcoker Music / Mouth Of The River Music (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing) CCLI Song # 7046448 #DeathWasArrested #JoshuaErtle #AcousticWorship #ChristianMusic #WorshipCover #ChristianAcoustic #FreedomInChrist #ResurrectionPower #GospelMusic #LiveWorship

Made for More – Josh Ertle (Acoustic Worship Cover) Worship at Planned Parenthood #joshbaldwin
There are moments when God uses a song to stir our hearts and remind us that following Jesus was never meant to be passive. Faith in Christ isn’t about staying silent, comfortable, or safely on the sidelines. It’s about movement, obedience, and living out what we say we believe. When I first heard Made for More, it woke something up in me. It reminded me that life in Christ is an active calling to love boldly, live truthfully, and carry His light into places that desperately need hope. The gospel doesn’t end with salvation; it begins there. We are saved not only from sin and death, but for purpose, obedience, and mission. That’s why I chose to sing this song outside Planned Parenthood. Standing there are women, fathers, and families who often don’t know Christ, who feel trapped by fear, shame, or lies, and who may believe they have no other choice but to abort their child. This song is a reminder that they were made for more that sin does not have to define them, that hope is real, forgiveness is possible, and life does not have to end in regret or loss. Christ offers a better way, and His mercy is available to all who turn to Him. Scripture makes this clear. We are told to arise and shine because the glory of the Lord has come upon us (Isaiah 60:1). Jesus calls us to let our light shine before others so that God is glorified through our lives (Matthew 5:16). Love is not meant to remain in words alone, but to be lived out in action and in truth (1 John 3:18). A faith that never moves, never speaks, and never acts is not the faith described in the New Testament. A first-person song that calls believers to rise, move, obey, and live boldly is not about glorifying the self. It is about refusing to waste the life Christ purchased with His blood. Scripture is clear that salvation is not the finish line but it is the starting point. We are new creations in Christ, created for good works prepared in advance by God. We were never meant to be spectators; we were meant to be participants in His redemptive work. Some pastors criticized Made for More because it doesn’t explicitly mention Jesus by name or it uses the words I and me so much. But that critique misunderstands both biblical theology and how Scripture itself often speaks. Jesus told His followers, “You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:13–14). Salt and light are not passive. They change environments. They preserve, expose, and illuminate. A song that calls believers to live fully, move forward, and refuse a half-alive faith is doing exactly what Jesus commanded and calling His people to embody what they claim to believe. The New Testament is filled with exhortations like this: “Walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received” (Ephesians 4:1). “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only” (James 1:22). “Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18). These passages don’t re-explain who Jesus is every time. They assume Christ as the foundation and then press believers toward obedience, action, and visible faith. That is exactly what Made for More does. What makes this song rare today is that it doesn’t stop at emotion or reflection. Many modern worship songs emphasize comfort and reassurance, and those themes are biblical. However Scripture never lets us stay there. Following Jesus always leads to movement. In many ways, this song is about not wasting your life. That echoes Paul’s words: “I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course” (Acts 20:24). This isn’t self-glorification. It’s Christ-centered obedience expressed through first-person resolve, just like the Psalms where David declares, “I will praise,” “I will trust,” “I will obey.” The Church today isn’t confused about who Jesus is. We know His name. What we often lack is the willingness to live like He meant what He said. That’s why a song that calls believers to rise, act, and reject a passive faith is not dangerous. It’s necessary. It threatens comfort and pushes people out of pews and into the world as salt and light. When faith moves from words to obedience, strongholds are confronted and Christ’s light advances. Thank you to the worship teams who play it. It woke me up and I pray it does the same for someone else. We were never called to simply admire the light. We were called to be it. We were made for more than comfort. More than silence. More than a faith that never leaves the pew. Joshua Ertle - Victory in Jesus (Acoustic Cover)
“Victory in Jesus” is one of the most timeless hymns ever written — a joyful anthem celebrating what Christ accomplished for us on the cross. When I sing this song, I’m reminded that true victory doesn’t come from our strength or our goodness — it comes from Jesus alone. Because of His death and resurrection, sin no longer has power over us. As 1 Corinthians 15:57 says: “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” We can’t earn salvation through works, religion, or trying to be perfect. It’s only through faith in the One who conquered death that we are made new and have eternal life. Even when we fall short, the Holy Spirit continues to sanctify and strengthen us day by day — reminding us that our victory is already secure in Him. I pray this acoustic version brings hope, joy, and encouragement to your heart today. Jesus truly paid it all — and the victory is ours forever in Him. 1 Corinthians 15:57 – “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 8:37 – “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Ephesians 2:8–9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith… not by works.” Romans 6:14 – “For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.” Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

“You Hold My Days” — Uplifting Original Melody (Inspired by ‘Three Little Birds’) by Joshua Ertle
This is a clip of a song I wrote called “You Hold My Days". I wrote in the style and acoustic feel of “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley, with new lyrics centered on trusting God when life feels uncertain. The full version will be released soon. This song is a reminder that we don’t have to fear what lies ahead, because God holds every one of our days, steadying our hearts with His grace and His presence. The lyrics draw from Scriptures that tell us God is trustworthy, faithful, and near to the anxious: Psalm 55:22 — “Cast your burden on the LORD, and He will sustain you.” Matthew 6:34 — “Do not worry about tomorrow…” Psalm 73:23 — “I am continually with You; You hold my right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 — “Fear not, for I am with you… I will uphold you.” This song is for anyone who wakes up with a heavy mind, wrestles with quiet fears, or needs a reminder that God has never failed, and He never will. Remember God holds your days. Every single one “You Hold My Days” — Lyrics [Verse 1] Some days I feel scattered Trying hard just to breathe Forgetting that Your presence is enough for me But You slow my worries And settle down my mind Saying, “Walk in the light you have "one step at a time.” [Verse 2] You’ve been faithful in ways I never saw And in moments I doubted, You still held on So I’ll trust You with what I can’t control ’Cause You’ve shown me again You are good to my soul [Final Chorus] I won’t worry tonight You’ve brought me this far — You won’t leave me behind I won’t fear what’s ahead ’Cause You hold my days, and You’ve never failed yet No, You’ve never failed yet #YouHoldMyDays #ChristianMusic #WorshipSong #AcousticWorship #ThreeLittleBirdsInspired #FaithOverFear #TrustInGod #DoNotWorry #GodIsFaithful #ScriptureSong #ChristianCover #ChristianSongwriter #AcousticCover #PraiseAndWorship #BibleVerses #JesusMusic #WorshipAcoustic #ChristianCreatives #OriginalWorshipSong #NewWorshipMusic #ChristianEncouragement #WorshipGuitar #PeaceInChrist #AnxietyAndFaith #GodHoldsMyDays #Isaiah4110 #Psalm5522 #Matthew634 #AcousticChristian

Joshua Ertle - "Change My Story" - Original Song
This is a new song I wrote titled "Change My Story." A couple of weeks ago, my pastor preached from Psalm 13. It was one of the most impactful sermons in my life. Psalm 13 is about the grace of God and His love: God's loving way of sustaining us in times of trouble and providing for our needs. In life's most trying times, when even our family and friends desert us, we can rely on God to hear our cries and to help us in every circumstance. The song is sung from the perspective of the person who acknowledges the existence of God but struggles to fully embrace Him in the moment. They find themselves longing, reaching out to God, and questioning whether He hears their pleas in desperation. Throughout the song, the individual reflects on their past mistakes and the heavy burden of their sins, allowing feelings of unworthiness to cloud their desire for connection with God. They grapple with the idea of divine forgiveness, caught between their longing for change and the belief that their past may disqualify them from receiving God’s love. Eventually, through introspection and revelation, they begin to understand a vital truth: genuine repentance and accepting Jesus's unconditional love and salvation are the keys to fundamental transformation. They realize that no matter how deep their regrets or how far they feel from God, He is always ready to embrace them with open arms, offering a comforting refuge from their despair. The song addresses a broader theme that resonates with many, including Christians who may experience moments of doubt or feel disconnected from God. It emphasizes that even in our most resounding cries of lament and desperation, we can have profound encounters with him. In these vulnerable moments, when our hearts are laid bare, we can express our sorrow for our sins and commit to turning away from them, striving to become what God intended. This process allows us to experience God’s enduring presence and transformative power, guiding us toward healing and renewal and instilling hope and inspiration in our hearts. Lyrics When I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, I wonder, "Where are You, God? Are You even listening to me?" When I keep running into betrayal and disappointment, I ask You, God, "Are You watching over me?" When I'm ready to give up and throw everything away, I ask You, God, "Will I ever be okay?" Help me figure it all out, Because I want to know what you have planned for me Please help me understand and let me know what kind of man you want me to be Lord, I need Your help to trust You. I can't run this race on my own. I hear You, the King who sits high upon Your mighty throne. You know the purpose of all things, even when I don't see Your plans. Find in me a trusting heart and help me obey Your commands. It doesn't make sense to me yet, but I feel your presence near. I've lived in this sin for so long that I'm scared you won't meet me here. Is it as easy as trusting in Your plan and saying to You that I am sorry for all of the times from you that I ran I want you to now /change my story Your presence consumes me. Ever consuming You are always in control. You shaped, and you made me, You came to set the captives free You are always in control

Joshua Ertle - "Jesus Over Everything" Acoustic - The Belonging Cover #JesusOverEverything
We lifted up the name of Jesus outside the Planned Parenthood in Washington, D.C. declaring “Jesus Over Everything.” It was a morning filled with prayer, worship, and outreach. My friends and I gathered to be a light in a place that desperately needs hope and love. We didn’t come to argue or condemn but we came to worship the One who reigns above it all and to minister to those who are lost, afraid, and feel hopeless. No matter how dark a place may seem, Jesus is still Lord. His power, mercy, and love extend to every person — from the unborn child to the mother, the father, and every heart searching for peace. Singing “Jesus Over Everything” by The Belonging Co outside the clinic was a reminder that Christ’s presence cannot be silenced. He is hope for the broken, forgiveness for the sinner, and victory over death itself. So we sing this as a prayer and a declaration — that over every life, every struggle, and every moment of pain, Jesus is still over everything. “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy.” — Colossians 1:17-18 Original Artists: Andrew Holt, The Belonging Co Released: 2021 Album: See The Light (Live) Lyrics He came from glory Took on flesh to save the lost Grace and mercy displayed upon the cross Our redemption, He's the hope for all mankind One name over everything One name over everything Jesus over everything He reigns forevermore Our song for all eternity Jesus Christ is Lord (yes He is) Who can rival our resurrected King In one moment, He brought death to its knees All the power, oh, and authority To one name over everything Yes to one name over everything (c'mon) Jesus over everything He reigns forevermore Our song for all eternity Jesus Christ is Lord Jesus over everything He reigns forevermore Our song for all eternity Jesus Christ is Lord Yes, this will be our song This will be our song Oh, He is Lord Over fear, over shame Over all anxiety Over troubles and all pain Over sickness and disease For He reigns on the throne All praise to Him alone One name over everything Over death and all sin Over hell, over the grave Darkness bows, demons flee At the mention of His name For He reigns on the throne All praise to Him alone One name over everything Oh! “’Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus” | Vocal & Electric Guitar Hymn Cover ✝️ - Joshua Ertle
Here’s a simple vocal and electric guitar rendition of the classic hymn “’Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus.” This song has been a personal reminder for me to rest fully in Christ, not in my own strength, plans, or understanding, but in who He is and what He has already done. Trusting Jesus isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. One Bible story that connects deeply with this hymn is found in Matthew 14, when Peter steps out of the boat to walk on water. As long as Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he was held up by faith. But the moment he focused on the wind and waves, he began to sink. Even then, Jesus immediately reached out and caught him. That’s the heart of this song: trusting Jesus completely and knowing that even when our faith feels weak, He remains faithful. Scripture reminds us: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5) “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3) My prayer is that this cover brings peace, encouragement, and a reminder that Jesus is worthy of our full trust in every season of life. If this blessed you, feel free to like, share, or subscribe. Thank you for listening. Battle Hymn for the Unborn - Joshua Ertle (Original) #prolifechristian @SethGruberShow
Battle Hymn for the Unborn is a bold, Christ-centered reworking inspired by the tune of Battle Hymn of the Republic, written to confront the greatest moral crisis of our time and to awaken a Church that has grown too quiet. These lyrics speak directly to the reality that violence against the unborn has been hidden behind euphemisms, legalized language, and cultural pressure. Scripture is clear that God is not blind to innocent blood, and that truth does not change simply because a culture chooses to rename evil as “choice” or “care.” This song does not teach salvation by works. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. But grace was never meant to produce silence or passivity. The same gospel that saves us also calls us to obedience, courage, and love lived out in truth. Scripture commands God’s people to speak when others cannot: “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.” — Proverbs 31:8 “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.” — Proverbs 24:11 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” — Jeremiah 1:5 Battle Hymn for the Unborn is a call for the Church to rise—not in hatred, not in violence, but in repentance, prayer, truth, and faithful action. We fight on our knees. We speak with love. We refuse to trade truth for comfort. Jesus Christ conquered death at Calvary. Every child He forms is precious to Him. And His truth is still marching on. Lyrics Verse 1 Mine eyes have seen the violence concealed behind the veil, Where blood cries out from secret rooms and truth is put in jail. They call the killing “choice” and “care,” but lies will always fail— His truth is marching on. Chorus Glory, glory, hallelujah, Glory, glory, hallelujah, Glory, glory, hallelujah, His truth is marching on. Verse 2 The Lord of hosts has weighed the scales, the verdict has been sworn, He hears the silent shattered cries of children yet unborn. Woe to those who shed their blood and mock the life He formed— His truth is marching on. Chorus Verse 3 Christ spoke of least and helpless ones and warned the proud and strong: “Whoever harms the innocent shall face My judgment throne.” No ruler, court, nor culture stands when God declares them wrong— His truth is marching on. Chorus Verse 4 Not saved by law nor works of man, but by the Savior’s blood, Yet grace that saves the sinner still condemns the shedding flood. The cross forgives the repentant heart—but never calls evil good— His truth is marching on. Chorus Verse 5 So let the Church arise at last, no longer mute or tame, No fear of men, no love of peace that trades the truth for shame. We fight on knees, with truth and love, in Jesus’ holy name— His truth is marching on. Chorus Final Verse (Victory) He trampled death beneath His feet, the grave could never win, And every child He formed by hand is precious unto Him. The King who conquered Calvary will judge the world in sin— His truth is marching on. Final Chorus Glory, glory, hallelujah, Glory, glory, hallelujah, Glory, glory, hallelujah, His truth is marching on. Joshua Ertle - "He Reigns" - Newsboys Cover
This is me, Joshua Ertle, singing and playing acoustic guitar outside of Planned Parenthood in Washington, D.C. Every week, I stand with a group of my pro-life friends—not with anger or judgment, but with prayer, worship, and the truth of God’s Word. In this video, I sing “He Reigns” by Newsboys, a powerful reminder that the glory of God covers the earth and His name reigns above every power and authority. Even in the shadow of darkness, Jesus reigns. Every unborn child is precious in His sight, and every heart can be redeemed by His grace. We gather here to be a light, to offer hope and love to mothers and fathers in crisis, and to declare that Christ reigns over all. “The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.” – Psalm 103:19 If this encourages you, please share it so more people can hear about the hope we have in Jesus and the truth that every life is worth defending. © 2003 Ariose Music (Admin. by EMI Christian Music Publishing) Soylent Tunes (Admin. by Integrated Copyright Group, Inc.). "How Great Is Our God (Acoustic Worship Cover) | Joshua Ertle
This simple acoustic worship cover is a reminder that no matter what the world looks like, our God reigns above it all. His greatness never changes, and His name is worthy to be praised. When I hear this song, I’m reminded of Psalm 145:3 — “Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.” Worship isn’t about performance; it’s about surrender. Whether you’re watching from your home, your car, or in the middle of a storm, I pray this song draws you closer to Jesus and reminds you of His power, love, and faithfulness. Psalm 145:3 – “Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.” 1 Chronicles 29:11 – “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory.” Philippians 2:9–11 – “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow.” #HowGreatIsOurGod #WorshipCover #AcousticWorship #JoshuaErtleMusic #PraiseAndWorship #ChristianMusic #Jesus #GospelMusic #WorshipSongs #FaithThroughMusic #GodIsGreat #WorshipSession #AcousticGuitarWorship “How Great Is Our God” Written by Chris Tomlin, Ed Cash & Jesse Reeves © 2004 sixsteps Music / worshiptogether.com songs / Alletrop Music

Joshua Ertle - "How Great Thou Art" (Acoustic Hymn)
This is a cover I recorded of the beautiful Hymn "How Great Thou Art". “Great are the works of the Lord; they are studied by all who delight in them.” “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever” (Psalm 111:2,10). Psalm 111 Psalm 48:1 confidently declares, "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised." The Psalmist boldly asserts, "Great are the works of the Lord." What the Lord has done in creation is unparalleled, from the smallest to the largest. LYRICS [Verse 1] O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout the universe displayed [Refrain] Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art! [Verse 2] When through the woods, and forest glades I wander And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze [Refrain] Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art! [Verse 3] And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing He bled and died to take away my sin [Refrain] Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art! [Verse 4] When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart Then I shall bow, in humble adoration And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!" [Refrain] Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art! © 1949 and 1953 Stuart Hine Trust CIO Stuart K. Joshua Ertle | You’ve Already Won (Acoustic Worship Cover) | #ShaneAndShane #AcousticWorship
When I sing “You’ve Already Won” by Shane & Shane, I’m reminded that no matter what battles we face — the outcome has already been decided. Jesus has won the victory. There’s so much comfort in knowing that the fight isn’t ours to win. Through the cross and resurrection, Christ has already conquered sin, death, and fear. Even when life feels uncertain, we can walk in peace knowing that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us. As 1 Corinthians 15:57 says: “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” And in Romans 8:37 we’re told: “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” We don’t fight for victory — we fight from victory. Joshua Ertle - "Change My Story" - Alternative Version
This is a fingerpicking rendition of my song "Change My Story," which I wrote and recorded two weeks ago. The response to the original version has been incredibly positive, with many people offering support and encouragement, sharing how this song has helped them walk with God. Thank you to all who have been so supportive of the song. Inspired by this feedback, I decided to record with a different style for this new version. When we feel alone, even from family and friends, we can turn to God for help in tough times. The song tells the story of someone who knows God exists but has doubts, similar to many. They long to connect with God and wonder if He hears their cries. In the song, the person thinks about their past mistakes and the weight of their sins. This makes them feel unworthy and distant from God. They struggle with the idea of forgiveness, feeling that their past may keep them from receiving God’s love. As they reflect, they discover an essential truth: repentance and accepting Jesus's unconditional love can lead to real change. They realize that no matter how far they stray or how heavy their regrets are, God is always ready to welcome them. He offers comfort and support, reminding them they are never alone in their struggles. The song speaks to many, including Christians who face doubts or feel distant from God. It highlights that we can connect with Him even in our most resounding cries for help. In these honest moments, we can express our regrets and commit to change, trying to become our best selves. We can feel God’s constant presence in our lives by having faith.

Joshua Ertle - "Battle Hymn of the Republic" - Acoustic
The "Battle Hymn of the Republic" is a patriotic song from the Civil War, written by Julia Ward Howe after being inspired by "John Brown's Body" during a visit to Union hospitals in 1861. Many churches today hesitate to speak the truth because they fear losing financial support or attendees. As believers, our true allegiance and moral guidance come from our relationship with God. This connection compels us to resist worldly influences and the tempting distractions that arise from Satan. Some churches are experiencing remarkable growth and vitality, driven by congregations and pastors who demonstrate a strong commitment and a profound purpose for righteousness. They understand that God's way is the only way, rather than being afraid to offend others. These churches thrive because they boldly proclaim the teachings of the Bible, standing firm in their beliefs without yielding to societal pressures or worrying about public perception. We must emphasize having steadfast faith, unwavering devotion, and boldness in fighting for those who can't help themselves. This country still has a long way to go in protecting the lives of the unborn. We must rise up and take a stand for real, lasting change. God does not call us to be bystanders. Let us march toward victory against this wicked culture and make a difference. We must speak out against the killing of unborn babies in this country, or we risk losing our nation.

Joshua Ertle - "Scars in Heaven" (Casting Crowns Cover)
I am dedicating this beautiful song to my girlfriend of eight years, Alyssa Marie Clark, who was tragically killed in a car accident recently. Though I will miss her deeply, I will never forget her incredible strength. She was determined to make a difference and succeeded in improving the world. On my last birthday you sent me a voice message singing a beloved worship song. I cherished those moments when you sang, as your love for music and praise was a testament to your faith. Now, you can sing His praises in eternal joy. You held on to the Lord even in challenging times, demonstrating an unwavering pursuit of Him. Your kindness and compassion illuminated the lives of those around you. Heaven truly deserves you more than we do here on Earth. You were cherished by many more people than you realized, and your friends and family all love and miss you. Now, you are singing praises at the Lord's feet. Fly high, my angel; we will meet again. Your impact on my life is unforgettable, and your legacy will continue to inspire. You made a significant mark on the world, and now it is your time to embrace the joy of Heaven. I miss you deeply and wish I could remind you again that you are loved and the strongest person I have ever known. You deserve to know that you were seen, loved, admired, and appreciated for your achievements and the incredible example you set for so many. Your impact on your clients was profound, and your dedication to serving others exemplified true selflessness. The world needs more encouraging and kind souls like you. You were a fantastic aunt, a wonderful sister, daughter, partner, and friend. Knowing how important Jesus was to you and how you lived out your faith brings me joy. You are now rewarded with an eternity in the presence of our Heavenly Father, free from worry. I look forward to seeing you in Heaven and am grateful for our beautiful memories. I will always love you, and we will reunite in Heaven one day. Lyrics [Verse 1] If I had only known the last time would be the last time I would have put off all the things I had to do I would have stayed a little longer, held on a little tighter Now what I'd give for one more day with you [Verse 2] 'Cause there's a wound here in my heart where something's missing And they tell me that it's gonna heal with time But I know you're in a place where all your wounds have been erased And knowing yours are healed is healing minе [Chorus] The only scars in Heaven, thеy won't belong to me and you There'll be no such thing as broken and all the old will be made new And the thought that makes me smile now even as the tears fall down Is that the only scars in Heaven are on the Hands that hold you now [Verse 3] I know the road you walked was anything but easy You picked up your share of scars along the way Oh, but now you're standing in the sun, you've fought your fight and your race is run The pain is all a million miles away [Chorus] The only scars in Heaven, they won't belong to me and you There'll be no such thing as broken and all the old will be made new And the thought that makes me smile now even as the tears fall down Is that the only scars in Heaven, yeah, are on the Hands that hold you now [Bridge] Hallelujah, hallelujah Hallelujah, for the Hands that hold you now [Verse 4] There's not a day goes by that I don't see you You live on in all the better parts of me Until I'm standing with you in the sun, I'll fight this fight and this race I'll run Until I finally see what you can see, oh-oh [Chorus] The only scars in Heaven, they won't belong to me and you There'll be no such thing as broken and all the old will be made new And the thought that makes me smile now even as the tears fall down Is that the only scars in Heaven are on the Hands that hold you now © 2021 My Refuge Music (Admin. at Essential Music Publishing) Combustion Five, Third Story House Music (Admin. by Me Gusta Music). O Praise The Name (Anástasis) - + Lyrics - Joshua Ertle (Hillsong Worship Cover)
This is a cover of my favorite song "O Praise the Name (Anástasis) by Hillsong United. Vocals and Guitar performed by Joshua Ertle As Jesus walked to Golgotha, the hill known for executions, He must have felt a storm of emotions. With each step, He faced the agony of crucifixion—a brutal punishment intended to cause immense suffering. Even with the pain of nails piercing His wrists and feet, and His body hanging from the cross, Jesus held onto the promise of victory over death. He willingly bore the weight of our sins, motivated by His deep love for us. In His most significant moments of suffering, He demonstrated unwavering determination, knowing He was paving the way for hope and redemption for all. We have so much to be grateful for regarding Jesus. Though we are flawed sinners who fall short, His love remains steadfast. He deserves all glory, honor, and praise. Lyrics I cast my mind to Calvary Where Jesus bled and died for me. I see His wounds, His hands, His feet. My Savior on that cursed tree His body bound and drenched in tears They laid Him down in Joseph's tomb. The entrance sealed by heavy stone Messiah still and all alone O praise the name of the Lord our God O praise His name forever more For endless days we will sing Your praise Oh Lord, oh Lord our God Then on the third at break of dawn, The Son of heaven rose again. O trampled death where is your sting? The angels roar for Christ the King O praise the name of the Lord our God O praise His name forever more For endless days we will sing Your praise Oh Lord, oh Lord our God He shall return in robes of white, The blazing Son shall pierce the night. And I will rise among the saints, My gaze transfixed on Jesus' face O praise the name of the Lord our God O praise His name forever more For endless days we will sing Your praise Oh Lord, oh Lord our God O praise the name of the Lord our God O praise His name forever more For endless days we will sing Your praise Oh Lord, oh Lord our God Oh Lord, oh Lord our God © 2015 Hillsong Music Publishing (Admin Capitol CMG) Small City Music (Admin by Music Services). Joshua Ertle - "Place on F Street" - "Original Song" @TheSurvivorsUS @SethGruberShow #stopsurgi
This is a clip from a song I wrote called "Place on F St," about the notorious abortion "doctor", Cesare Santangelo, who is operating his slaughter house of children on 2112 F St NW Ste 400 in Washington D.C. ❓What is SURGI?❓ The Washington Surgi-Clinic is known for unacceptable practices and poor patient care. As an all-trimester abortion facility, it has gained a reputation for unprofessional staff and unsanitary conditions. Former patients have raised serious issues, such as dirty medical equipment and poorly kept procedure rooms. ❌Malpractice❌ After the tragic miscarriage of her child, Rebecca Carey Charland was referred to Santangelo. While removing the deceased child, he botched the procedure so badly that fetal remains entered her bloodstream, traveled to her lungs, and killed her. 🌹Justice for the Five🌹 In 2022 Terrisa Bukovinac and Lauren Handy, former members of Survivors, recovered the remains of 115 aborted babies at Washington Surgi. The remains included five children who may have been killed in violation of the 2003 federal Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act and the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act. Medical professionals suggested that these babies were at or near full term and may have been born alive before being killed. These claims have led some members of Congress to call for a complete investigation of the clinic’s practices. However, despite serious concerns and increasing public and political pressure, little has been done against the Washington Surgi-Clinic. The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department reportedly did not perform autopsies on the recovered remains, drawing criticism from both pro-life groups and lawmakers who argue that a proper investigation is needed to see if any federal laws were broken. ❗️Stop SURGI From Killing Again❗️ Visit StopSurgi.com to learn more and get involved. @thesurvivors.us @thesurvivors.dc #justiceforthefive #stopabortionnow #stopsurgi #conservative #prolifedemocrats #endabortionnow 20m

Joshua Errtle - "Guiding Light" (Voy Vance Cover)
This is a cover that I did of the amazing song from Voy Vance called" Guiding Light" This is a cover of a song that differs significantly from my previous works. The song I'm covering is "Guiding Light" by Vance Joy. This piece resonates with me as it encapsulates various themes related to guidance and support, often intertwined with notions of faith. It is not a Christian song, but I relate to this song in many ways in terms with my relationship with God. This song speaks to my experiences when I sometimes feel disoriented or lost in life. I've encountered moments when uncertainty looms over me, and during those times, I find solace in the belief that God is always present, ready to guide and correct my path. His presence gives me the strength to navigate challenges and helps me rediscover the direction He desires for my life. For me, God truly embodies the concept of a guiding light. By faithfully following Him, we can find our way back to a place of peace and purpose. Ultimately, this journey will lead us all to our eternal home in glory, filled with love and fulfillment. I hope you enjoy my cover and that it inspires you to reflect on your journeys! Released: 2013 Original Artist: Foy Vance Album: Joy of Nothing Lyrics [Verse 1] Well, the road is wide And waters run on either side And my shadow in the fading light Is stretching out towards the night 'Cause the sun is low And I yet have still so far to go And my lonely heart is beating so Tired of the wonder There's a sign ahead Though I think it's the same one again But I'm thinking 'bout my only friend So I'll find my way home [Chorus] 'Cause when I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light When I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light [Verse 2] Oh, well the air is cold And yonder lies my sleeping soul By the branches broke like bones This weakened tree no longer holds Oh, well, the night is still And I have not yet lost my will And, oh, I will keep on moving till Till I find my way home [Chorus] When I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light When I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light When I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light When I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light When I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light When I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light [Outro] So lead me home, lead me strong Like the road I walk on When I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light When I need to get home You're my guiding light You're my guiding light

Joshua Ertle - "Change My Story" - Original Song
I wrote a song titled "Change My Story" last December, a profoundly personal reflection born out of the profound grief I experienced after losing my long-time partner in a car accident. This is a newly recorded version of the song. The months that followed her passing were filled with challenges that tested my faith, as well as my emotional and spiritual strength. It felt like I was navigating a stormy sea, with waves of sorrow crashing around me during some days. During these dark periods, when even our closest family and friends may turn their backs on us, we can find healing, solace, and rest in God. We must let him navigate our path and not rely on our strength. This is something that I struggle with at times, so I wanted to write a song to help myself and others working with this. Later in life, I discovered that in trying moments, when it feels like the world is closing in, when we turn to God for refuge, he is always ready to hear our cries. He will give us comfort and peace in life's most trying moments if we trust in him. This experience inspired the song and ignited my desire to share my journey of healing and hope in Christ with others facing similar struggles. I also wanted the song to be sung from the perspective of someone who acknowledges God's existence but struggles to fully embrace or fully trust him in the moment. I know many people can relate to this feeling. Even if you're a believer, God sometimes allows us to endure periods of suffering. We are not promised that this journey will be easy on this side of heaven. He can use these hard times to make us rely in him and trust in him more. In the lyrics, the person longs for connection, reaches out to God, and questions whether He hears their desperate pleas. Throughout the song, they reflect on past mistakes and the burden of their sins, which can lead to feelings of unworthiness that obscure their desire for a relationship with God. This is a struggle that many of us face, and I have personally experienced it. They wrestle with the concept of divine forgiveness, caught between their longing for change and the belief that their past disqualifies them from receiving God's love. Ultimately, through prayer and revelation from the Lord, they come to understand an essential truth: genuine repentance and accepting Jesus's unconditional love and salvation are the keys to fundamental transformation. They realize that no matter how deep their regrets or how far they feel from God, He is always ready to embrace them with open arms, providing a comforting refuge from despair. The song addresses a broader theme that resonates with many, including Christians who experience moments of doubt or feel disconnected from God. It emphasizes that even in our most heartfelt cries of lament and desperation, we can have profound encounters with Him. In these vulnerable moments, when our hearts are laid bare, we can express our sorrow for our sins and commit to turning away from them, striving to become what God intended us to be.

Joshua Ertle - "Rise Again" (Dallas Holm Cover) Acoustic
This is a cover of the beautiful song "Rise Again" initially performed by Dallas Holm. True to God's promise, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day after he was crucified, an event foretold by prophets in Scripture. His resurrection was not just a personal victory but a declaration that offered redemption and new life to all believers. This sacrifice he gave invites us to share His victory and live in hope, ready to overcome the struggles we have on this Earth. Accepting this truth assures us that death has no power over us, allowing us to walk confidently in our redemption. Jesus shares this victory with everyone who believes in Him. This victory offers forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life to those who sincerely seek Him. As Christians, we are not mere spectators; we are called to participate actively in the journey Jesus opened for us. This involves following His teachings, living out our faith, and sharing hope and good news about salvation with others. We must boldly accept this victory and let it shape our spiritual lives. By doing so, we can reflect His love and light in a world that needs it. Artists: Dallas Holm, Bill & Gloria Gaither Released: 1977 Album: Dallas Holm & Praise ... Joshua Ertle - "Battle Hymn of the Republic" - Acoustic
Battle Hymn of the Republic” is a patriotic song from the Civil War, written by Julia Ward Howe after she was inspired by “John Brown’s Body” during a visit to Union hospitals in 1861. To my fellow Christians, it is crucial for us to acknowledge that countless individuals around us are spiritually lost and in need of the love and guidance found in the word of God. Each day presents an opportunity to reflect His light in our actions and actively share His message with those who have not heard it. Let us strive to live in dedicated service to God, showing kindness, compassion, and understanding to everyone we meet. By embodying the teachings of Christ, we can create meaningful connections and inspire others to seek a deeper relationship with Him. Moreover, with the uncertainty of when the Lord will return, it is vital for us to remain vigilant and proactive in spreading His name throughout the world. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of others and help fulfill the Great Commission.

Joshua Ertle - "God is in Control" - Acoustic Guitar - Lyrics - Twila Paris Cover
In uncertain and chaotic times, it is comforting to remember that God is in control. Believing in His power helps us understand everything that happens under His watchful eye. When we trust in His plan, we can face challenges with peace and confidence. His power does not waver, providing us with comfort and support. I have gone through some very rough times lately, and songs like these are great reminders that God will not forsake His children. There is no power above or beside Him so that we can rest in the peace of God's love. Jeremiah 29:11 God is in control and has good plans for you, including a future and hope. This is an old classic from the early 90's from Twila Paris. I remember growing up listening to this and have always loved it. Thank you to my cousin Amanda for helping me rediscover this fantastic song. This song is interesting in that there are multiple critical changes in this song. There are a total of 3 different keys in the original song. LYRICS This is no time for fear This is a time for faith and determination Don't lose the vision here Carried away by emotion Hold on to all that you hide in your heart There is one thing that has always been true It holds the world together God is in control We believe that His children will not be forsaken God is in control We will choose to remember and never be shaken There is no power above or beside Him, we know God is in control, oh God is in control History marches on There is a bottom line drawn across the ages Culture can make its plan Oh, but the line never changes No matter how the deception may fly There is one thing that has always been true It will be true forever God is in control We believe that His children will not be forsaken God is in control We will choose to remember and never be shaken There is no power above or beside Him, we know God is in control, oh God is in control He has never let you down Why start to worry now? He is still the Lord of all we see And He is still the loving Father Watching over you and me Watching over you, watching over me Watching over everything Watching over you, watching over me Every little sparrow, every little thing Every little thing, oh! God is in control We believe that His children will not be forsaken God is in control We will choose to remember and never be shaken There is no power above or beside Him, we know God is in control, oh God is in control Oh God is in control! oh God is in control! © 1993 Ariose Music and Mountain Spring Music (Admin. by EMI Christian Music Publishing). Joshua Ertle - "You've Already Won" - Shane and Shane Cover
Joshua Ertle - "You've Already Won" - Cover This is my cover of the song "You've Already Won" by Shane and Shane I recorded this piece after an acoustic worship night at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA. The worship team did this song that night, which moved me and marked an important moment in my musical journey. At that time, I had been playing guitar for a few months and was starting to explore singing. This video was the first significant video that I uploaded for music. I believe God has a purpose for us, no matter where or when we start. The inspiration I gained from that night motivated me in music and strengthened my faith. It reminded me that it's never too late to start a new journey for God's glory and praise. Here is the link to the acoustic night of worship from that night. https://www.youtube.com/live/kK5V60DS4hc?si=R6m_nYJQLo5ogz9d Philippians 4:19 "19. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Exodus 14:14 "14. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent." Hebrews 13:5-6 "5. Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6. So we can confidently say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?" I forget that I am in the middle of a war and a foreigner in this world. It's easy to get discouraged, but your future is bright if you have accepted God's love in Jesus. Remember all God has done for you: He bought, saved, and gave you His Holy Spirit. Jesus is returning soon, so let's keep fighting and be free in His strength. LYRICS [Verse 1] There's peace that outlasts darkness Hope that's in the blood There's future grace that's mine today That Jesus Christ has won So I can face tomorrow For tomorrow's in Your hands All I need, you will provide Just like you always have [Chorus] And I'm fighting a battle You've already won No matter what comes my way I will overcome Don't know what you're doing But I know what you've done And I'm fighting a battle You've already won [Verse 2] There's mercy in the waiting Manna for today And when it's gone, I know you're not You are my hope and stay When the sea is raging Your Spirit is my help He'll fix my eyes on Jesus Christ I'll say that it is well Oh, I know that it is well [Chorus] I'm fighting a battle You've already won No matter what comes my way I will overcome Don't know what your doing But I know what you've done, thank you, God I'm fighting a battle You've already won [Bridge] I know how the story ends We will be with you again, you're the one who saves You're my Savior, my defense, so we don't have to be afraid No more fear in life or death I know how the story ends, we will be with you We will be with you again You're my Savior, my defense, no more fear No more fear in life or death, alright, y'all, with everything you've got, here we go I know how the story ends, we will be with You We will be with you again, You're my Savior You're my Savior, my defense, no more fear No more fear in life or death I know how the story ends, oh, I need no other, need no other [Chorus] I'm fighting a battle That You've already won No matter what comes my way I will overcome Don't know what your doing But I know what you've done, thank you, God I'm fighting a battle You've already won [Outro] I'm fighting a battle You've already won, hey © 2022 Be Essential Songs, bryanfowlersongs (Admin. by Essential Music Publishing LLC) Songs From Wellhouse (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing). "Jesus Paid It All" - Joshua Ertle I Acoustic Hymn #GraceNotWorks #FaithInChrist #SealedInChrist
“Jesus Paid It All” has always been one of my favorite hymns. Every time I sing it, I’m reminded of the beautiful truth that our salvation isn’t something we have to earn — it’s already been finished on the cross. When Jesus said, “It is finished” (John 19:30), He meant it. The full price for our sins was paid once and for all. We can’t work our way into heaven or perform enough good deeds to earn God’s love — because it’s already freely given through Christ. The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8–9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” When we put our faith and trust in Jesus, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13–14). That means our salvation is secure — not because of what we do, but because of what He did. Yes, we still sin, but God is constantly refining us through sanctification — the lifelong process of becoming more like Christ. This doesn’t give us permission to live however we want; instead, it gives us the power to live in obedience out of love and gratitude for what Jesus has already done. I pray this acoustic performance of “Jesus Paid It All” reminds you that no matter what you’ve done, there is grace, forgiveness, and freedom in the finished work of the cross. #JesusPaidItAll #JoshuaErtle #ChristianMusic #AcousticWorship #GraceNotWorks #FaithInChrist #SealedInChrist #WorshipCover #Sanctification #FreedomInChrist John 19:30 – “It is finished.” Ephesians 2:8–9 – Saved by grace through faith, not by works. Ephesians 1:13–14 – Sealed with the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:38–39 – Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. Philippians 1:6 – He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. Lyrics VERSE 1 I hear the Saviour say Thy strength indeed is small. Child of weakness watch and pray Find in me thine all in all. CHORUS Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow. VERSE 2 Lord now indeed I find Thy power and thine alone Can change the leper's spots And melt the heart of stone CHORUS Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow. VERSE 3 And when before the throne I stand in him complete Jesus died my soul to save My lips shall still repeat CHORUS Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow. REFRAIN x4 Oh praise the one who paid my debt And raised this life up from the dead. CHORUS Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe. Joshua Ertle - "You've Already Won" - (Shane and Shane) w/Lyrics #shaneandshane #worship #godisgood
I am excited to share a new cover of my favorite songs "You've Already Won" by Shane and Shane. I recorded another version of this song about eight months ago when I began my journey into singing and playing the guitar. This song was played during an acoustic night of worship, and I loved it so much that I came home and learned it in one night, and uploaded it to YouTube, and that video really helped jumpstart this channel. Philippians 4:19 "19. "Awesome God " Acoustic - Joshua Ertle (Rich Mullins Cover) #worship #godisenough
This is a cover I created of the song "Awesome God." The song from Rich Mullins beautifully captures our gratitude to God, who has blessed our lives in countless ways—whether through love, support from family and friends, or the simple joys that fill our days. In recognition of these abundant blessings, it is essential for us to rise and actively stand up for what is just and proper. God calls us to be His hands and feet in the world, upholding His values of justice, power, compassion, and mercy in our actions and interactions with others. Embracing this mission honors His gifts to us and inspires those around us to join in the pursuit of goodness and righteousness. © 1988 Universal Music - Brentwood Benson Publishing (Admin. by Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing, Inc.). Joshua Ertle - "Ocean Floor" - Audio Adrenaline Cover - (Softer Acoustic Version)
I am trying my hand at a beautiful Christian alternative rock song called Ocean Floor. I love this song because it reminds us that we all sin and fall short of God's glory. However, He is a loving and forgiving God, and there is nothing that He won't forgive if we lay it down at His feet and ask for forgiveness. We all make mistakes and have regrets, and the song emphasizes the importance of releasing ourselves from guilt and shame in order to move on. If God has granted forgiveness, why can't we forgive ourselves? He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. ~ Micah 7:19 Released: 2001 Album: Lift Artist: Audio Adrenaline Lyrics The mistakes I've made, that caused pain I could have done without, all my selfish thoughts All my pride, the things I hide You have forgot about They're all behind you, they`ll never find you They're on the ocean floor, your sins are forgotten They're on the bottom, of the ocean floor My misdeeds, all my greed All the things that haunt me now They're not a pretty sight to see But they`re wiped away By a mighty mighty wave A mighty mighty wave They're all behind you, they`ll never find you They're on the ocean floor, your sins are forgotten They're on the bottom, of the ocean floor Your sins are erased And they are no more They're out on the ocean floor Take them away, to return no more Take them away, to the ocean floor To the ocean floor, to the ocean floor They're all behind you, they`ll never find you They're on the ocean floor, your sins are forgotten They're on the bottom, of the ocean floor Your sins are erased And they are no more They're out on the ocean floor Your sins are forgotten They're on the bottom Of the ocean floor Your sins are erased And they are no more They're out on the ocean floor Up In The Mix/Flicker USA Publishing (BMI). “What a God | Acoustic Cover by Joshua Ertle” - SEU Worship Cover #EssentialWorship #WorshipCover
This is my cover of the worship song “What a God” by Essential Worship. This song reminds me of the greatness and faithfulness of the Lord. The lyrics lift my heart to worship a God who is both mighty and near—One who created the heavens and yet cares deeply for every detail of my life. Scripture affirms this truth: “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable.” – Psalm 145:3 “For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.” – Psalm 100:5 “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” – Colossians 1:17 This song is special to me because it captures the awe I feel when I think about who God is and what He has done. When I worship with these words, I’m reminded that He is worthy of everything—my trust, my praise, and my life. Playing this acoustic version is my way of declaring that there is no one like Him. Truly, what a God we serve. "Landslide" - Joshua Ertle (Erik Nieder Cover)
This is a cover of a fantastic worship song by Erik Nieder called "Landslide". I fell in love with this worship song, "Landslide" by the very talented Erik Nieder. The lyrics celebrate the incredible freedom and joy believers experience through faith in Jesus, representing a release from earthly chains and a profound spiritual liberation in accepting Christ's sacrificial love and grace. Here is the link to Erik's amazing original version. https://youtu.be/vJ-EVZw0fVY?si=ViOVV8rpYPMmstvD Here is a link to his acoustic studio version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aei1rVnCnTk The song eloquently conveys the transformative message of being cleansed from sin and receiving forgiveness through Jesus's death and resurrection. The metaphor of a "landslide" illustrates how His sacrifice effectively buries the burdens of the past, allowing believers to step into a new beginning unburdened by guilt. The song also describes the overwhelming experience of being immersed in God's boundless love and mercy. This powerful metaphor captures the essence of feeling enveloped by divine grace, washing away despair and instilling peace. The lyrics narrate a compelling story of personal resurrection and victory over life's struggles. They portray rising from the dust and embracing new life through faith in Christ. This theme resonates strongly with the idea of being resurrected with Him, offering hope and renewal to all who trust Him. This song embodies faith and hope, highlighting the transformative power of Jesus Christ. It emphasizes the journey from despair to freedom, forgiveness, and new life in Christ. [Verse 1] I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ All my sin and shame forever crucified Risen from the grave, from darkness into light With confidence I stand, forever justified [Chorus] There is freedom in the name of Jesus Christ In Your presence my soul is satisfied [Verse 2] No greater love than this, the Savior died for me I am now an heir, a child of the king Risen from the dust, into eternity With confidence I stand, with confidence I sing [Chorus] Thеre is freedom in the name of Jеsus Christ In Your presence my soul is satisfied, is satisfied I'm satisfied, ooh [Bridge] I'm drowning in Your mercy, deeper than the sea I'm buried in forgiveness like a landslide over me Now I sing forever a song of victory I'm risin' up in freedom as You're resurrecting me I'm drowning in Your mercy, deeper than the sea I'm buried in forgiveness like a landslide over me Now I sing forever a song of victory I'm risin' up in freedom as You're resurrecting me [Chorus] There is freedom in the name of Jesus Christ In Your presence my soul is satisfied, yes, it is, Lord There is freedom in the name of Jesus Christ In Your presence my soul is satisfied [Outro] I'm drowning in Your mercy, deeper than the sea I'm buried in forgiveness like a landslide over me Now I sing forever a song of victory I'm risin' up in freedom as You're resurrecting me I'm drowning in Your mercy, deeper than the sea I'm buried in forgiveness like a landslide over me Now I sing forever a song of victory I'm risin'— © 2022 Erik Nieder Music, Man Cub Muzak House, RELWOF, So Essential Tunes (Admin. by Essential Music Publishing LLC). Joshua Ertle - "Child of the King" - Original Song + Lyrics
This is a clip of the new song I wrote called "Child Of the King". We all make mistakes, whether from weakness, bad choices, or rebellion. When we genuinely repent, we can always turn to God for forgiveness. His mercy and grace are always there, ready to welcome us back and give us a fresh start. As we reflect on our experiences, let’s also be thankful for God's deep love and forgiveness that comforts us during tough times. This forgiveness brings relief and hope, showing us that no matter our past, we can always find a new beginning in God. "Let the children of Zion rejoice in their King" (Psalm 149:2). This verse encourages the people of Zion—representing those who follow God—to celebrate and find joy in their King. "To all who received Him and believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12). This passage explains the Christian belief that faith in Jesus Christ allows people to become children of God. It highlights the importance of acceptance and belief in faith. "Now to the eternal, immortal, invisible King, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen" (1 Timothy 1:17). This statement praises God’s everlasting nature, recognizing His power and greatness. He is the one true God who deserves eternal honor and glory. I am a child of the King! If you believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you are one too. Here’s an important truth: Your heavenly Father, the King of Kings, loves you unconditionally and cares for you without fail. His love is steady and eternal, providing comfort and guidance in every part of your life. Remember that you are cherished and valued as a child of God in good times and challenging times. Rejoice in this privilege; it brings great joy and comfort to our lives. The apostle John, writing about Jesus, states, "To all who received Him, and to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12). Here's the fact: If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and are following Him, you are a child of the King!

Joshua Ertle - "He Reigns" - Newsboys Cover
When I was young, I used to listen to the music of the band Newsboys. One of their favorite songs is "He Reigns," which I still cherish. It is a top hit by Newsboys and a classic Christian song with a special place in my heart. God truly holds ultimate authority over all things, and we are nothing without His presence and guidance. Artist: Newsboys Released: 2003 Album: Adoration: The Worship Album Lyrics [Verse 1] It's the song of the redeemed Rising from the African plain It's the song of the forgiven Drowning out the Amazon rain The song of Asian believers Filled with God's holy fire It's every tribe, every tongue, every nation A love song born of a grateful choir [Chorus] It's all God's children singing Glory, glory, hallelujah He reigns, He reigns It's all God's children singing Glory, glory, hallelujah He reigns, He reigns [Verse 2] Let it rise about the four winds Caught up in the heavenly sound Let praises echo from the towers of cathedrals To the faithful gathered underground Of all the songs sung from the dawn of creation Some were meant to persist Of all the bells rung from a thousand steeples None rings truer than this [Chorus] It's all God's children singing Glory, glory, hallelujah He reigns, He reigns (4x) [Bridge] And all the powers of darkness Tremble at what they've just heard Cause all the powers of darkness Can't drown out a single word [Chorus] When all God's children sing out Glory, glory, hallelujah He reigns, He reigns It's all God's children singing Glory, glory, hallelujah He reigns, He reigns All God's people singing Glory, glory, hallelujah He reigns, He reigns (8x) © 2003 Ariose Music (Admin. by EMI Christian Music Publishing) Soylent Tunes (Admin. by Integrated Copyright Group, Inc.). Joshua Ertle - "Man of Constant Sorrow" (Soggy Bottom Boys Cover)
I thought I would have fun and try something different with one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies of all time "O Brother Where Art Thou" “Man of Constant Sorrow” is a traditional American folk song first recorded by Dick Burnett in 1913. It remains uncertain whether Burnett actually wrote the song. One claim is that an earlier version came from Ireland in the late 19th century. Burnett gave an interview near the end of his life and in it he said he really couldn’t remember if he wrote it or heard it and took in on as his own. The song gained renewed popularity with the release of the 2000 film “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” The song is performed by Dan Tyminski for the soundtrack. Lyrics Intro In constant sorrow through all his days [Verse 1] I am a man of constant sorrow I've seen trouble all my days I bid farewell to ol' Kentucky The place where I was born and raised The place where he was born and raised [Verse 2] For six long years I've been in trouble No pleasure here on Earth I've found For in this world I'm bound to ramble I have no friends to help me now He has no friends to help him now [Verse 3] It's fare thee well, my old true lover I never expect to see you again For I'm bound to ride that Northern Railroad Perhaps I'll die upon this train Perhaps he'll die upon this train [Verse 4] You can bury me in some deep valley For many years where I may lay And you may learn to love another While I am sleeping in my grave While he is sleeping in his grave [Verse 5] Maybe your friends think I'm just a stranger My face you never will see no more But there is one promise that is given I'll meet you on God's golden shore He'll meet you on God's golden shore

This worship moment features You’ve Already Won, led by Worship Pastor Micah Reiser with the Cornerstone Chapel Worship Team, inspired by the arrangement popularized by Shane & Shane. This song is a powerful reminder that every battle we face has already been won in Christ. We don’t fight for victory, but we fight from victory because Jesus has finished the work. Scripture declares this truth clearly: “The battle is not yours, but God’s.” — 2 Chronicles 20:15 “We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” — Romans 8:37 “It is finished.” — John 19:30 “He disarmed the rulers and authorities… triumphing over them by the cross.” — Colossians 2:15 One of the most meaningful lines in this song is “tomorrow’s in Your hands.” This phrase expresses the biblical truth that the future is fully under God’s sovereign control and providence. It reflects a posture of trust and surrender by placing unknown outcomes, fears, and anxieties into God’s care rather than carrying them ourselves. It affirms that God has a purposeful plan and is actively at work in guiding what lies ahead. For believers, this truth brings peace and assurance: we do not need to fear the future because it is held by a loving and all-powerful God. Within the song, this line reinforces the theme of relying on God’s provision and resting in His ultimate victory, reminding us that the war has already been won by Christ. No matter what giants stand before you today, Jesus has already declared victory. Be strengthened and encouraged because Christ has won. 🎶 Song Information Song: You’ve Already Won Original Artist & Writer: Phil Wickham Arrangement Inspired By / Performed By: Shane & Shane Writers: Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake Originally Released: 2023 CCLI Song #: 7219786 #YouveAlreadyWon #CornerstoneChapel #VictoryInChrist #JesusWins #ItIsFinished #ChristianWorship #WorshipMusic #FaithOverFear #MoreThanConquerors #WorshipShorts #ChristianShorts #BibleVerses #EncouragementInChrist

O Praise the Name (Anástasis) | Part 2: He Is Risen | Cornerstone Chapel Worship @cornerstonechpl
This is Part 2 of a three-part visual worship series following O Praise the Name (Anástasis). This is the moment where silence gives way to victory. Where Part 1 ended in stillness, this chapter reveals what was waiting beneath the darkness. The sealed tomb does not remain closed. The grave does not hold Him. The visuals move from the quiet weight of the tomb into the dawning reality of the resurrection. Light breaks in. The burial cloths are left behind. Death is defeated. Not with spectacle, but with divine authority. “He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.” (Matthew 28:6) “On the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away…” (John 20:1–7) This is the turning point of the song and the story. The tomb is empty. The Savior lives. Hope is no longer waiting — it has risen. “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen.” (Luke 24:5–6) This video features the Cornerstone Chapel Worship Team, led by my friend Micah Reiser, and continues the worship journey begun in Part 1. 🎵 Song & Copyright Information Song Title: O Praise the Name (Anástasis) Writers: Benjamin Hastings, Dean Ussher, Marty Sampson Artist: Hillsong Worship Release Year: 2015 Publisher: Hillsong Music Publishing (Administered by Capitol CMG Publishing) © 2015 Hillsong Music Publishing. What He’s Done | Verse 2 – He Has Done Great Things | Cornerstone Chapel Worship @cornerstonechpl
This is a clip of the Cornerstone Chapel worship team leading "What He's Done" by Passion. This is the 2nd verse of the song. “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3 This is a live worship moment of “What He’s Done” by Passion, recorded at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia. This worship song is a proclamation of the finished work of Jesus Christ - He saved us. - He redeemed us. - He poured out grace we did not deserve. - He has done great things. Scripture calls us to remember and declare the mighty works of God: “Sing to the Lord… tell of all His wonderful deeds.” (Psalm 105:2) “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.” (Psalm 107:1) “He has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9) “It is finished.” (John 19:30) “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.” (Revelation 5:12) May this worship moment stir your heart to remember all Jesus has done and to praise Him for His salvation, His sacrifice, and His unfailing love. O Praise the Name (Anástasis) | Part 1: Messiah Still and All Alone | Cornerstone Chapel Worship
This short follows the opening of O Praise the Name (Anástasis) exactly as it was written - quietly, reverently, and without rushing to the victory too soon. The visuals are intentionally restrained. They begin with the weight of the cross and the cost of Calvary, then move into the stillness of the tomb. Jesus is shown laid to rest according to Scripture wrapped in burial cloths, alone, the tomb sealed, and no light breaking in yet. Nothing moves. No angels appear. No resurrection is revealed. The pacing slows on purpose. The darkness, silence, and restraint are meant to let the moment sit to feel the finality and the waiting. Much of the frame remains empty and dark, allowing the words of the song to rest in the stillness rather than compete with motion. “And Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb…” (Matthew 27:59–60) Messiah still and all alone. Yet even in the silence, this is not the end of the story. The tomb is sealed — but it will not stay that way. What lies in darkness now will soon be revealed (John 20:1–7). No triumph yet. But hope is waiting. Just the weight of what was done and the silence before everything changes. This video features the Cornerstone Chapel Worship Team, led by my friend Micah Reiser, and I’m incredibly grateful for the way they led this song. This was a lengthy project for me to create, but it deeply touched me while making it. I thank God for helping me learn so much through the process. Part 2, which shows Christ’s resurrection and His rising from the grave, is available now and linked here. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-nB_BsnZgSA O Praise the Name is my favorite worship song of all time. It was the very first song I ever sang and played when I bought my first guitar. No other song carries more meaning for me because it so clearly shows the depth of Jesus’ sacrifice and why He alone is worthy of all our praise. Not just now, but for all eternity, for all who know Him and love Him will be singing His praise. "O Lord You’re Beautiful" | Callie, Evie & Pastor Ben Lashey @cornerstonechpl @keithgreenmusic
“One thing I have desired of the Lord… that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord.” — Psalm 27:4 This is a live worship moment of “O Lord, You’re Beautiful” by Keith Green, led by Callie Lashey, Evie Lashey, and their father, Worship Pastor Ben Lashey, from Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA. This classic worship song is a simple and powerful prayer: - Lord, restore to us the beauty of Your presence. - Renew our hearts. - Set our gaze back upon You. In a world full of distractions, God reminds us through His Word: “Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.” (Psalm 29:2) “Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us.” (Psalm 90:17) “Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always.” (1 Chronicles 16:11) “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” (Psalm 150:6) May this worship draw your heart closer to the Lord and remind you that His glory, His holiness, and His beauty are what truly satisfy our souls. This acoustic-led worship moment was recorded live at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA, as part of our ongoing desire to seek God's face and glorify Him through music. "Holy Forever" - Callie Lashey #holyforever #christistheanswer #jesus #worship
Check out this beautiful clip featuring Chris Tomlin's worship song "Holy Forever," performed by the Cornerstone Chapel Worship Team, with Callie Lashey leading the vocals. This song holds a special place in my heart; it comforts me during challenging moments. The thought that my loved ones who have faith in Jesus are now in heaven, joyfully singing "Holy Forever" with the angels, fills me with hope and peace. It’s a powerful reminder of the love and connection we share in faith. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DE1znk5vzCF/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link You were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.
